Reflective Practice Group for Listeners.

Service Description

Is this for you? ~Are you someone who listens deeply to others and would like regular time to reflect on your practice? ~Would you like to be part of a monthly, closed, facilitated group where you can can share your experience and hear the experiences of other listeners in similar and different fields? ~Might you find it helpful or even essential to have some space in your month to receive support ? ~Would you like to continue to develop and deepen your listening skillls and understanding? How will group be set up? The group will be faciliatated by me Jenny, so that this can be an space where you can receive holding, nourishment and support for yourself. We will co-learn from being alongside others from a wide range of environments and disciplines who are exploring and refelecting on their listening practice. Their will be pportunities to focus on specific elements of listening theory and practice as well as engaging with regulation practices. Sessions will invite a mixture of sharing and subject exploration. My intention for these groups is that they are beneficial, nourishing, informative and reflective. Participants may include social workers, teachers, medics, third sector staff, crisis staff, mentors, private practitioners, helpline workers, private business owners or staff, drop in staff, out reach workers, legal staff. All and any experience of being a listener is welcome. The Practicals: Reflecting on our listening together will be a closed monthly reflective practice group for up to 6 participants. Sessions will run on the third Friday of the month (except December when it will take place on the second) and will last for 2 hours. The group rolls for 6 months at a time and a 6 month committment is required. Payment plans of monthly or 6-monthly are available. Sessions cost £40 each / £240 for the series of 6.
