Listening from Loving Presence ~ An Introduction to Hakomi.

2 hour in person workshops in Machynlleth

 24th March 2026 2pm-4pm

Hakomi is a gentle body-centred (somatic), mindfulness based therapy that works with our unconscious habits that can cause unneccesary suffering.

It supports us to slow down and track habitual ways of being that may be getting in the way of ease and nourishment. It helps us to be present with each other in ways that are easeful and kind?
We learn to listen without trying to fix or rescue, and in turn feel nourished by our connections with people that we are supporting.

This workshop is an introductory sessions to the foundational practice of Loving Presence from

The Hakomi Method is an approach of self study, where we turn towards ourselves with
kindness and curiosity in order to track our habitual patterns and tendencies that can get in the way of simply being present and enjoying the nourishment that can come from connection.

This 2-hour introductory session offers a chance to experience and expore the Hakomi Method for yourself.  The group will be small and experiential.

The workshop will be faciliated by qualified Hakomi practitioners Jenny Smith and Tania Dolley.

It is a natural part of the universal human endeavor to understand ourselves, to free ourselves of the inevitable suffering that follows from ignorance of who we are and “how the world hangs together”.
