Service Description

Deep Listening Skills and Practice for Deep Times Deep listening supports us to relax into more spaciousness and more receptivity. We connect more directly with our presence as a resource, letting go of overly active patterns of striving, fixing and rescuing. Instead, we listen from a deeper place in us, deeper than our hearing, deeper than our thoughts, ideas and beliefs about what we are hearing. This quality of listening comes from our innate, receptive and responsive being-ness, and nourishes us as well as those we listen to. The course is both practical and reflective. We will draw from Carl Rogers active listening skills and we will build our receptive listening ground from the fields of nervous system science, Mindfulness and Hakomi Is this course for you? ♢ Are you someone for whom listening well is essential, either personally or professionally? ♢ Do you want to be able to continue to listen in ways that are sustainable and nourishing for yourself for the foreseeable future? ♢ Are you interested in being able to listen from a spacious, embodied, nervous system aware and trauma sensitive approach? ♢ Do you want to build your capacity to listen well to yourself, thus reducing risks of burning out? ♢ Might listening well be a part of your life path, a practice that you want to prioritise and commit to?
