Service Description

We'll meet online each week via zoom.. This is a comprehensive and practice eight week online course that is well structured and well paced to support you to steadily build your practice and explore how mindfulness and meditation can be employed to support you with life's inherent stressors. Through the weeks we'll turn our attention towards our relationship with: ~ Stress ~ Physical pain ~ Emotional pain ~ Money ~ Our roles We will draw on ancient traditional Zen meditation practices to support us to turn towards rather than away from our experience, to face what life brings and to be more honest with ourselves about our reactions and the impact of them. cult designed to give you the mindfulness and meditation tools to promote your overall health and wellbeing. We will practice together as a group and will progress through different meditation techniques that progressively build on each other, giving you a chance to see which one most suits your practice at this point. Practicing mindfulness and meditation has the potential to: ~Support you to be more present in your life and relationships ~Become aware of stressors and respond to them differently. ~Increase focus and concentration ~Interrupt habitual patterns of distraction and avoidance. ~Come into a different relationship with patterns of anxiety and stress. ~Create a sense of spaciousness and more time in your life. It is suitable for you if you are looking for an introduction or refresher to mindfulness and meditation. The course has been designed and overseen by the Mindfulness and Meditation training organisation Zenways, of which I am currently a student instructor. There are two pre-requisites for this course: 1) That you can commit to attending all of the sessions 2) That you can commit to practicing meditation for 25 minutes a day for the duration of the course. This course is offered on a 'pay what you can afford' basis If you are in a position to pay more, that supports me to to offer places to people who can pay less.
