Service Description

This workshop is a closed group just for Betonica Herbal Medicine Students. As a practitioner, would you like to: ● Learn how to listen and support others from a responsive, receptive and resourced place in yourself? ● Learn to listen with your whole self rather than simply the audio part of your brain? ● Complete your sessions with both you and your clients feeling nourished & regulated? The importance of being able to sustain our capacity to listen deeply: Listening to those we are supporting is a key element of any practitioner's work, yet many of us confuse listening with fixing, rescuing and solving. True listening is made up of both active and receptive elements Our active skills demonstrate that we are present and attuned. Our receptive ground nourishes us as well as those we are listening to. In this stand alone practical and experiential session we will explore the ways in which we can bring presence and acceptance to ourselves as well as those that we are supporting. We will identify patterns and habits that impact our capacity to stay resourced and identify tools and approaches that can support us to effort less and relax more. This is a three hour group session held online via zoom. The session will comprise of sharing some content via slides, large group discussions, explorations and practice and small group reflection time. There will be some handouts to take away at the end of the session The cost is a sliding scale of 35/ £45 /£55 Please choose what feels right for you at this point. About Jenny.
